Huang Po Han (Victor) is an accomplished litigator with over seven years of experience appearing before the Singapore State Courts and Supreme Court. He is a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators, a member of the Society of Construction Law, and is qualified to practise in five jurisdictions: Singapore, Australia, England & Wales, New Zealand, and Ireland. Before entering the legal profession, Victor worked as a private investigator with a licensed investigation firm and remains a licensed private investigator with the Singapore Police Force.
Born in Taiwan, Victor is bilingual and fluent in Mandarin and English. His broad legal experience spans civil and commercial disputes involving contract and tort, construction matters under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act, employment disputes, defamation, arbitration, estate disputes, as well as personal and corporate insolvency and restructuring.
In addition to his dispute resolution practice, Victor has substantial experience in corporate transactional work. He has advised on and completed a broad spectrum of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructurings. His work also encompasses the drafting, negotiation, and completion of shareholder agreements, licensing and distribution arrangements, financing documentation, and franchising agreements. His transactional experience spans both domestic and cross‑border matters, giving him a well‑rounded commercial perspective.
